Killer percussion. Very crunchy, love the texture.

Real cool shit. Love the glitchy bells in the beginning, and the sound in general. Kind of like Tsuruda meets neo-soul.

Thanks for pointing me towards Tsuruda, that stuff's super up my alley

This is perfect. Won't ever stop coming back to it.

Haha my b dude! I should have picked this one first. The drums are so tight, and the bass is so crisp. Real good shit. The drums are a bit repetitive, but I've always said repetition is good if something is worth repeating.

This sounds pretty cool. You can really hit a note, and the composition is tight. Everything sounds kinda drenched in reverb though.

Yoshiii343 responds:

Yeah, this is a really old track, back when I thought "reverb = makes stuff sounds bigger" or something (I still do, but to a lesser extent hopefully) instead of stereo shaping/enhancing.

I'd say that these particular tracks below are a more recent portrayal of how my DnB stuff (vocal or otherwise) sounds:

everything else here is really cool :) i love the funky time signature you use, and it's composed really well!! and i love the cacophony of noise you build to at the end, it's almost like a post-rock song. i only wish it would have ended a bit more smoothly, but other than that i dig it

I still quote this song

release this god damn song already

This is the start to a good idea. The bass gets a little bit repetitious, and it kind of drowns out all of the other melodic elements in the mix. The transition at 1:50, too, is very sudden and the change in overall volume doesn't feel justified. But, the drums that come in about 20 seconds later are fun, and I liked that.

I'm not against loud songs, I love a good noisy song, but I think this song could do well to manage the variation in loudness between elements to make sure everything fits in the mix right. Like at the end, I just straight up cannot hear the lead at all.

So, it's not bad, but it could use some work to really hit the mark.

Stunning that this was made in 2011, could have been released yesterday and it'd be just as good
